OZONE MACHINES

Vortech offers its clients two ozone disbursement machines, each suitable for slightly different settings and applications.

TAP MOUNTED SYSTEM

Our Tap Mounted System (TMS) is the smallest unit in the range and is installed at wash-up or prep sinks.

The ozone nozzle is mounted directly onto existing taps and automatically adds ozone to any running water.

OVERHEAD SYSTEM

Our Overhead System (OH3) can be installed anywhere in the prep area and the nozzle is suspended by a ‘slinky hose’ above the cleaning station. This allows users a wider arc of movement and is suitable for higher volumes.

THE SCIENCE OF OZONE

Ozone, a molecule made up of 3 oxygen atoms (O₃),
is very unstable and really wants to exist in a two atom form (O₂) or as something else.

Oxidation (the attachment of the extra O atom to another atom or element) alters other molecules – and in the case of viruses and bacteria, it alters their RNA structure and instantly kills them.

Once oxidation is complete, all the ozone will have converted to oxygen – as harmless as nature intended.

COMPARING SANITISATION OPTIONS
